Dear Friend,

This is personal.

I’m writing to you not just as the Chair of the Illinois Republican Party, but as a lifelong Illinois resident who, like you, wants to love this state with all my heart. Illinois is where I grew up, raised my family, and built my life. It’s the place where I’ve seen neighbors come together in times of need–where I’ve experienced the strength and resilience of our communities.

But it breaks my heart to see what’s happening to our home. Under Democratic control, Illinois has lost so much of what made it great. We’ve watched as radical policies have caused crime to surge, businesses to shut their doors, and families to leave for greener pastures. We’ve seen schools fail our children, taxes rise to unbearable levels, and corruption infect our government. This isn’t the Illinois I know and love.

But we have a chance—a real chance—to change that this November.

I’m personally asking you to stand with me in this fight. I’ve never been more committed to a cause than I am to saving Illinois, but I can’t do it alone. We’re in the final stretch of this campaign, and we need every bit of support we can get to make sure we can win on Election Day.
