Delegate Selection for the Democratic National Convention

With the Presidential Primaries nearly complete, NC Democrats are moving to the next phase of delegate selection.

Delegates are generally chosen by election via their congressional district, with the exception of party leadership and some others.

The Executive Board decided it is within the best interests of NC Young Democrats and our organization to specifically endorse individuals seeking to become delegates. We will be endorsing any and all NC Democrats, under the age of 36, running to become delegates at the DNC.

We believe it is crucial that NC’s delegation to the DNC is truly representative of the state, highlighting the NC Democratic Party's youth, and a crucial part of the party's coalition of support. As the Young Democrats of North Carolina, we have an obligation to advocate and support NC Democrats, under the age of 36, who are seeking to be delegates. Regardless of who they are supporting for the Democratic nomination, NC’s Democratic Youth must be fairly represented.

With that said, we are so excited to endorse the following passionate Young Democrats for DNC Delegates!

**If you are running to be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention and would like an endorsement from YDNC, email [email protected]. (You must be an NC Democrat under 36 to receive an endorsement)
