Last night was one of the most thrilling baseball games I've ever seen, friend.

The Cleveland Guardians were trailing the New York Yankees two games to zero in the series – sort of like how we're trailing my Trump-backed opponent in this race – so it was a make-or-break moment.

I thought the Guardians had it locked up heading into the eighth inning, but then the Yankees' heavy hitters smashed two home runs to pull ahead. It was heart-wrenching. 

Fast forward to the bottom of the ninth. Two outs, Guardians are down to their last strike. Miraculously, they tied it up with a two-run home run, before winning with a walk-off in extra innings. I'm still grinning in disbelief. 

That game reminds me of this campaign. We might be down, but we're not out. We might've been outspent 3-to-1, but we'll never be outworked. With grit, determination, and resilience, we will win.

Like the Guardians, I'm ready to keep fighting until the final strike. But I need you with me, friend. The odds might be stacked against us, but with you on my grassroots team, I know we can win this thing.
