I just checked in with my team about our fundraising numbers, and they asked me to reach out to our top supporters for help. Why, you may ask?

Well, we’re just days away from our final public filing deadline before Election Day.

My team set an ambitious goal of $1 million because we need to make sure we can keep our foot on the gas pedal until the very end. Will you chip in to my campaign and Wes Moore to make sure we finish strong ahead of our last public filing deadline?

It’s an ambitious goal, I know, but the money we raise now could make all the difference in what happens on Election Day.

The stakes are higher than ever. You may have seen recent reports that my opponent called himself a “Nazi,” praised Hitler, and wished for the return of slavery. Those views are despicable. He CANNOT become NC’s next governor — but polling shows our race tightening and thousands of voters remain undecided.

I’m not willing to leave North Carolina’s future to chance, and I hope you're not either, John.
