Team — do us a favor and don't scroll away just yet.

Things are turning against us in Arizona and if we don’t get a handle on it quickly this could go south way faster than anyone expects. Please, let us explain:

FIRST: Over the last week or so we’ve seen Kari Lake start to claw back voters in the polls. We were leading handily for a while but that lead has started to shrink, and now it’s getting way too close for comfort.

THEN: We started looking into the data, specifically early ballot returns. Republicans are absolutely wrecking us so far. They’re turning out at a much higher rate than Democrats. If it continues this way much longer it could be a disaster for our chances.

NOW: We’ve got to rally, and fast. About 80% of the voters in Arizona turn in their ballots either by mail or by voting early. That means 80% of the voters in Arizona will have cast a vote by November 1st and we are running out of time to reach them.

President Obama himself is coming down to Arizona for a rally with Ruben this afternoon to help us get things back on track. If Obama’s coming, you know it’s serious.
