John,
In case you missed it, new data shows the
number of tents on San Francisco’s streets has dropped
60% under Mayor London Breed’s
leadership.
This is a huge deal – it’s the
lowest number of tents on San Francisco’s streets since
2018.
This wasn’t by
chance – it is a direct result of Mayor London Breed’s fearless
leadership. Her administration is expanding shelter capacity, housing,
and rental assistance programs and clearly enforcing the law when the
offer of shelter is rejected.
Because of Mayor London Breed, in
just the last year alone:
-
Over 5,200
people have exited
homelessness
-
Nearly 10,000
people are now
sheltered
-
8,200 people were
saved from falling into homelessness
-
We’ve seen a 30%
increase in those seeking
residential treatment programs
San Francisco finally has a leader
who knows how to get things done. She’s battle-tested, experienced,
and not afraid to tackle the most challenging issues our city
faces.
While this new data is incredible news, Mayor London
Breed’s work isn’t finished – it’s just getting started.
We can’t afford to take a
step back and start all over on the homelessness crisis with an
inexperienced candidate who needs on-the-job training.
Thank you for your continued
support.
Team London
Breed
