This moment is no different, as the Fifth Circuit Court held its hearing on the case that could shut down DACA one week ago — and a decision can come at any time. Every day that passes is another day that DACA recipients live in limbo, unable to plan for the future.

We don’t know when the decision will come, and we don’t know for sure what it will be. But there’s no need to wait to take action.

We’re using the urgency of this moment to demand lawmakers finally provide permanent protections — a pathway to citizenship and not just band-aid solutions.
