Just when it seemed like Trump couldn’t sink any lower, he threatened to deploy the military against American citizens should he win a second term. Going into full right-wing authoritarian mode, Trump referred to folks who disagree with his policies as “the enemy within.”

Here in Alabama, we have a proud military tradition — our men and women in uniform are the backbone of our communities. Our troops take an oath to our nation and Constitution, not to any leader.
