Should Men Be Allowed to Compete in Female Only Sports in Minnesota? |
True North Legal says “No”, and that’s why we engaged in a pivotal case this week in the Minnesota Supreme Court.
True North Legal submitted an amicus brief this week, also representing Minnesota Family Council and the National Legal Foundation, in support of female athletes in the Cooper v. USA Powerlifting & USA Powerlifting Minnesota, case. The case, which will be heard by the Minnesota Supreme Court, is extremely important in the fight to ensure that the hard-fought gains of female athletes in all sports and at all levels of competition are not erased. Women deserve a safe and fair playing field, especially in strength competitions like female powerlifting.

Alpha News: Database Reveals 382 MN Kids Received ‘Sex Change-Related Medical Interventions’ in 5 Years |

Children’s Minnesota is ranked as the third “worst-offending” children’s hospital in a newly-launched database cataloging U.S. medical facilities that have administered sex-change interventions on minors. [...]
Do No Harm said its database “reveals that 382 Minnesota children received sex change-related medical interventions between 2019 and 2023,” with Children’s Minnesota accounting for a significant number of those cases. Although Children’s does not offer surgical interventions, it had the highest number of pediatric patients of any facility in Minnesota, according to the database. That includes 54 patients who were prescribed hormones or puberty blockers.

"While other states are working to protect children, this data reveals that Children's Hospital in Minnesota, among other hospitals across the country, are in fact engaging in and encouraging young children on a dangerous path to self-destruction relying on experimental medicine, despite studies and data from experts around the world who have taken a step back from the previous 'gender-affirming' approach. This is of particular concern when laws recently passed in Minnesota disregard parental rights, and allow bypassing parental involvement in these life-altering decisions, while disregarding concerns relating to minors' medical decision-making capacity and informed consent."
Rebecca Delahunt, Director of Public Policy for Minnesota Family Council released the following statement:
"Claims data exposes how the Gender Health Program at Children’s Minnesota engages in the experimental practices of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for so-called ‘gender affirming care’ in our state. Both private and state taxpayer-funded insurance cover puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones in Minnesota. Children cannot give informed consent on drugs which place them not only at risk of sterility, but which also interfere with puberty, a state of development which develops brain function and bone development. Medical experimentation on kids, who cannot give informed consent, is barbaric.”
