Dear Friend,

Do you agree that the child care situation in this country is a flaming
disaster? Do you want to do something about it?

[ [link removed] ]Then pledge now to join us and millions of moms around the country to
be a #ChildCareVoter!

Child care continues to be unaffordable and inaccessible for most families
while child care providers are paid poverty level wages. This is why we
need concerned voters to turn out and turn up for child care this
election! This and all elections are an important opportunity to champion
child care policies that will lift our nation’s moms, children, families
and caregivers.

[ [link removed] ]Will you take our pledge to turn out and turn up for child care this
election?

What does it mean to be a Child Care Voter? If you believe that all
families should have access to comprehensive, affordable, high-quality
early care and education opportunities that provide for a well-trained and
compensated workforce, while giving families the freedom of choice to have
their children in spaces where they are safe, loved and learning, then
congratulations, you are part of our #ChildCareVoter movement!

Our current child care situation in this country is a flaming disaster,
and has been for decades. Even though 71% of moms with kids under 18 are
in the workforce [1], families report paying a third of their take home
pay to child care [2] and across the country, the annual price of infant
child care often exceeds the annual cost of in‑state tuition at a public
four‑year university. [ [link removed] ]

[3]CLICK NOW to take our pledge to raise your voice (and vote!) for child
care at the ballot box (or vote-by-mail ballot!)

Being a child care voter means wanting our families to thrive, it means
being informed on the current state of child care and also being a
resource for others around you who also support child care. This and all
elections are an important opportunity to champion child care policies
that will lift our nation’s moms, children, families and caregivers

Moms have been through enough, our families have been through enough. It’s
time to turn this struggle story into a success story by putting this
child care dumpster fire for good this Fall!
