Welcome to the Lame Duck era of Gavin Newsom. With the election 18 days away, Newsom is focused on one thing: raising your gas prices. Ironically, he’s lived off his Getty Oil Trust Fund for most of his life—and now he’s driving up gas costs for working and middle-class families.

Earlier this week, he jammed through a measure to forcing suppliers to withhold gasoline from gas stations. Less supply means higher prices. Watch my video explain this basic economic concept to Newsom.

This mandate is so dangerous that both Nevada’s Republican Governor Joe Lombardo and Arizona’s Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs practically begged Newsom to abandon his horrible plan, warning it will lead to price hikes and shortages across their states, not just California.

This disaster will go down in history as "Gavin Newsom’s planned gasoline shortage."

While Californians are distracted by Newsom's latest media stunt, his Air Resources Board is quietly pushing through a measure that will RAISE gas prices by 65 cents per gallon. Appointed by Newsom, this unelected board of bureaucrats will conveniently the vote on this price hike only after the November election.

When asked how he’ll stop these price hikes, Newsom says he’s “not the dictator” and his hands are tied. This is coming from the same man who banned Californians from going to the beach, closed places of worship, demands the Legislature pass his horrible policies without question, and constantly interferes in fair elections. He’s only King Newsom when it furthers his insane agenda.

I’ve sent a letter to Newsom’s Board demanding transparency on the cost to Californians. Make no mistake, Newsom's administration is getting rich off you at the pump.

Thanks to impossible regulations on the industry, yet another supplier announced plans to shut down operations in California. Of course, this is Newsom’s plan all along: limit the gasoline supply so much that you’re forced into an EV.

It's this type of corruption we’re fighting against. With the stakes (and the costs) this high, the upcoming election is more important than ever.

If we don’t stop the Democrats here, they will take these disastrous policies nationwide under the Harris-Waltz Administration. We can’t let it get any worse.
