We’re asking you to do something difficult: Close your polling tabs. They probably aren’t helping your nerves. And they certainly won’t change the results. Here’s something meaningful you can do instead: Make a donation to support the NDRC’s Democracy Defenders. We’ve done the legwork to identify the state-level races where our work can make the biggest impact for democracy. These elections are often won by narrow margins — sometimes just hundreds of votes. Polls don’t decide elections. Voters do. And we still have time to help Democrats turn out and vote for fair maps candidates across the ballot.
