John: Birth control is basic healthcare that should be accessible to everyone.

There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. We must establish the federal right to access ALL forms of FDA-approved birth control.

In the aftermath of 2022’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which effectively overturned the protections of Roe v. Wade – our reproductive rights have been ceaselessly under attack. Now more than ever, we need legislation that protects the right to bodily autonomy, personal choice, and equitable access to healthcare.

I refuse to stand by as our country devolves further and further into a nation where the right to choose is criminalized. As a member of the Pro-Choice Caucus and Democratic Women’s Caucus, I am proud to co-sponsor the Right to Contraception Act. This fight is far from over, John.
