You can put the final nail in the carbon tax’s coffin.

Media is reporting that a revolt is brewing among government MPs.

Multiple Liberals say the government should “axe the carbon tax,” according to Global News.

The carbon tax is an ineffective tax that makes your life more expensive.

The carbon tax costs average families up to $399 more this year than the rebates they get back, according to the Parliamentary Budget Officer. By 2030, that cost jumps up to $903.

And as the PBO notes, “Canada’s own emissions are not large enough to materially impact climate change.”

If you want the carbon tax scrapped, now is the time for you to join thousands of Canadian Taxpayers Federation supporters and take action.

Government MPs are worried about losing their cushy political jobs. They are starting to push back against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Next Wednesday (Oct. 23) government MPs will all be in Ottawa for their Liberal caucus meeting.

That means you have the chance to push government MPs to force the prime minister to scrap the carbon tax. But you need to act now.

Over the next few days, the Canadians Taxpayers Federation will let you know who to email to apply pressure. Supporters like you will be emailing and phoning specific politicians. This will happen fast.

You may have never believed the current government would ever scrap the carbon tax. But government MPs are worried about losing their jobs and you can let them know that either the carbon tax goes, or they do.
