Early voting officially began two days ago on October 16th! Absentee ballots are now being delivered, and select polling stations are now open. We encourage everyone to use these methods to cast their vote! Voting early helps lower the rush on election day, which in turn helps decrease the load (and stress) on our dutiful poll workers. |

Voting early also makes it easier for you as well. It lets you get it off your plate, and makes sure your voice is heard in case anything comes up on election day. If you get home from work on November 5th and find out that your son crashed his car through the garage door, having already voted makes it much easier to deal with the situation at hand. |

We cannot afford to lose a single voter. The races in all four congressional districts are neck and neck, and we could very well see a repeat of 2020 where the Democratic Party lost one race by just six votes. Even Trump’s lead over Harris is within the margin of error, if every Democrat shows up to the polls, the race could virtually become a coin flip. |

We’ve been busy here at IDP trying to make sure that future becomes a reality. Our canvassers have knocked on tens of thousands of doors with volunteers working in every county in the state. That doesn’t even include the sheer tonnage of papers and flyers we’ve sent in the mail, reminding people to vote and informing them on the issues impacting Iowa today. |

This election is going to be a close one, and we’re glad to have been able to work together to win it with you. We’ll never give up on our state, we’ll never give up on our county, and we’ll never give up on the people around us. We love them too much to let them fall.
