Candace is a proven champion for her community who understands the challenges that families face. She overcame childhood poverty and homelessness to become the first in her family to go to college. And she’s got a track record of winning -- beating an 18-year incumbent in 2017.
Candace is an example of the diverse leadership we need, and we can’t wait to elect her as the first Afro-Latina congresswoman.
