Bridge Builders Conversations With Interesting People
Gene Sperling served as director of the National Economic Council (NEC) during the second term of the Clinton administration and was the economic policy director of the 1992 Clinton-Gore presidential campaign. He later returned to the White House as director of the NEC under President Obama.

His new book defines "economic dignity" as the capacity to care for family, without economic deprivation denying the most meaningful and consequential moments with loved ones; the capacity to pursue potential and purpose; and the power to contribute economically with respect and not domination and humiliation. As we all continue to confront the many challenges posed by COVID-19, these goals are even more important.
President Clinton said, “In the end, all that matters are the builders. And after the builders are forgotten, all that remains are the ripples of what they’ve built.” "Bridge Builders: Conversations with Interesting People" will present the stories of distinguished change makers, thought leaders, and influencers. This series is presented by the Clinton Presidential Center and sponsored by Coulson Oil.

Each conversation will allow our featured speakers to share their insights on important challenges, opportunities, and issues of the day. Every person in the audience will be encouraged to learn more or do something that adds to the bridge that, together, we are building to the future.
