Last year, Ohio overwhelmingly voted in favor of a constitutional amendment protecting access to abortion, contraception, miscarriage care, and fertility treatments. However, Republican leaders still tried to undermine the will of the voters through their proposed legislation – and their efforts could still limit the scope of access.

There are so many anti-choice legislators in Ohio who are actively working to limit women’s autonomy over their own bodies. That is why we desperately need more pro-choice women leaders in the Ohio Statehouse.

Over 50% of this district cast their votes in favor of reproductive freedom last November. That means Lesley Verbus has a good chance of flipping this seat and defeating her anti-choice opponent.
