Catholics are called to the vocation of faith-filled citizenship. Putting first things first, our Shepherd, Cardinal Burke has said: “Catholics must place life, family & religious freedom first when voting.”

Let us dedicate time to examining our life’s priorities and preparing to participate in our country’s democratic process at every level with faith and a well-formed conscience.

For today, our eyes will be focused on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which holds all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

If you have not yet done so, please submit (or update) your intentions for our Midterm Election Countdown - three Holy Masses, from November 4-6. 

Include intentions for our nation, candidates you have been praying for, as well as your own personal petitions. Let us also pray for eligible voters who will not be exercising their right to vote to reconsider.
