IDF Eliminates Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar

Daily Wire: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated Hamas terrorist leader Yahya Sinwar on Wednesday in southern Gaza. Sinwar was killed along with two other terrorists in a building where there were no signs of any hostages being present, the IDF reported. Israeli soldiers saw the terrorists enter the building and ordered a strike against it. A senior Israeli official told the country’s Channel 12 that DNA testing has confirmed that Sinwar was among the three terrorists who were killed… The 62-year-old was the mastermind of Hamas’ October 7 terrorist attack in which thousands of terrorists stormed into Israel early in the morning and massacred more than 1,200 people (Daily Wire). Townhall: Prior to his planning of the October 7, 2023 attacks, Sinwar was graciously and mercifully treated for a brain tumor in Israel. In 2011, he was released in a prisoner exchange after spending 22-years behind bars for terrorism (Townhall). Dr. Eli David: Sinwar’s bodyguard was an “UNRWA Teacher” (X). Paul Szypula: Kamala Harris said in March that an Israeli strike in Rafah would be a “huge mistake.” She “studied the maps,” so thought she knew better than Israel. Today, Israel took out Yahya Sinwar in Rafah. He was the mastermind behind 10/7. Another humiliating moment for DEI Kamala (X). Brigitte Gabriel: Yahya Sinwar is dead. Found in the place Kamala Harris told IDF troops not to go. Crazy how that works (X).

Biden offered his congratulations after Israel killed Sinwar, who was the mastermind behind Hamas’s October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks on the Jewish State that left 1,200 people dead and sparked the war in Gaza. The two leaders spoke about working toward the release of 101 hostages still held by Hamas “and to bring the war to a close with Israel’s security assured and Hamas never again able to control Gaza” (National Review). Daily Wire: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Thursday that anyone who returns hostages from Hamas will be granted safety (Daily Wire).

Townhall: A senior engineer at Meta admitted in a secret recording that posts critical of Vice President Kamala Harris are “automatically demoted…” In a post sharing the undercover footage, O’Keefe said the software engineer explained “that Meta’s ‘Integrity Team’ is responsible for controlling content through ‘civic classifiers,’ a system that ‘shadowbans’ posts without notifying users” (Townhall). James O’Keefe: When asked, “You guys Meta have the ability to influence the outcome of the election?” Gyawali confirmed, “Yes,” admitting Meta’s power to sway political outcomes. When asked if Mark Zuckerberg, Co-Founder and CEO and Meta, supports Meta’s political influence and agenda to help the Democratic Party, Gyawali answered, “100%” (X).

Biden Approves Another $4.5 Billion in Student Loan Forgiveness
Biden has forgiven a total of $175 billion forgiven for about five million people. CNBC: The Biden administration announced Thursday that it was forgiving another $4.5 billion in student debt for more than 60,000 borrowers. The latest round of relief is a result of the U.S. Department of Education’s fixes to the popular, but once troubled, Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. President Joe Biden, who has forgiven more education debt than any other president in U.S history, said that the number of borrowers to benefit from the program under his administration now exceeded 1 million (CNBC). CNN: Biden’s signature, one-time student loan forgiveness program was struck down by the Supreme Court last year. It would have canceled up to $20,000 of student debt for many low- and middle-income borrowers. In 2022, 16 million borrowers got an email from the Biden administration that said they qualified for debt relief – but no loan forgiveness was ever granted by the program. That debt-relief program was estimated to cost more than $400 billion (CNN).

U.S. Bombers Strike Houthi Terrorists in Yemen
Bloomberg: US B-2 stealth bombers struck weapons-storage sites linked to Houthi rebels in Yemen, the latest effort to blunt attacks by the Iran-backed group that have disrupted commercial shipping in the Red Sea. The strikes hit bunkers containing missiles and other munitions “used to target military and civilian vessels throughout the region,” US Central Command said Thursday. US Air Force and Navy personnel took part in the operation and there’s no indication of civilian casualties, it added. The US and allies have repeatedly struck the Houthis, who started attacking ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden after Israel began its war against Hamas in Gaza just over a year ago. The group is one of a number of militant groups backed by Iran, alongside Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon, who are at various stages of conflict with Israel (Bloomberg). Fox News: The Houthis have launched at least 270 attacks on U.S. Navy ships, commercial shipping and coalition ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since last November, according to U.S. defense officials. The Houthis have shot down at least eight U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drones since Oct. 7th last year. Each of these drones costs up to $32 million dollars. At least 29 major energy and shipping companies have changed their routes to avoid Houthi attacks. At least 65 countries have been affected by the Houthi attacks, including Russia, Iran and China. Container shipping in the Red Sea has declined by 90% since December of 2023 (Fox News).

EU Threatens to Drown Elon Musk in Fines
HotAir: Elon Musk has done more to move humanity into the space age than any single person in the world. SpaceX launches about 90% of mass to orbit, is the only American company to reliably provide access to the space station, has reduced the cost to reach orbit by astonishing amounts, and is developing a rocket–starship–that will land on the moon and Mars in a few years. Then there is Tesla. Musk managed to build a new car company out of nothing, steal market share from the big boys, and is still the world’s most successful electric car company. And then there is Twitter/X, the #1 place to find news in the world and the biggest free speech platform in human history. The European Union is determined to kill Twitter/X and is willing to damage humans’ access to space in order to do it (HotAir). Visgrad 24: The EU has warned Elon Musk that it may calculate fines against his social-media platform X by including revenue from his other businesses, including SpaceX, xAI and Neuralink. Under the EU’s Digital Services Act, the bloc can slap online platforms with fines of as much as 6% of their yearly global revenue for failing to tackle “illegal content and disinformation.” The EU is now considering whether sales from these companies, in addition to revenue generated from the social network, should be included to determine potential fines against X (X).

Consultant Concludes Kamala Harris’ Plagiarism is Result of Negligence Rather Than Malice
Fox News: New York Times’ plagiarism consultant Jonathan Bailey released his “full analysis” of the allegations against Vice President Kamala Harris and found them “more serious” than he initially believed.  “At the time, I was unaware of a full dossier with additional allegations, which led some to accuse the New York Times of withholding that information from me. However, the article clearly stated that it was my ‘initial reaction’ to those allegations, not a complete analysis,” Bailey wrote on Plagiarism Today Wednesday… “With this new information, while I believe the case is more serious than I commented to the New York Times, the overarching points remain. While there are problems with this work, the pattern points to sloppy writing habits, not a malicious intent to defraud,” he added (Fox News). Chris Rufo: This is stunning: The New York Times “plagiarism expert” now confirms that the paper deliberately withheld the full Kamala Harris plagiarism report from him and that, after analyzing the full claims, Harris’s plagiarism is “more serious” than he told the Times (X).

Officials claim North Koreans have been spotted on the frontlines in recent weeks, with 10,000 Pyongyang troops already in Russia to assist the war effort (New York Post). Axios: Zelensky warned that North Korea’s involvement risks turning the conflict into a “world war” (Axios). U.S. and South Korean officials have said that military cooperation between Russia and North Korea is a violation of U.N. sanctions (Wall Street Journal).
