Today, Iowa Congressman Steve King said, "What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled out anyone who was a product of rape or incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?"

This is a man who's spent his entire career spewing racist, misogynistic, and hateful rhetoric. This is the foundation of moral character we've come to know from Congressman Steve King.

It'sdeeply disturbing that a sitting member of Congress with a track record of saying such abhorrent things still managed to get re-elected every two years for over a decade. But, this time will be different.

I want to introduce you to my friend, J.D. Scholten, the man who's going to defeat Steve King.

J.D. is running to replace Steve King and represent the true values of Iowans.

He ran against Steve King last year -- and came within just three points of beating him. But this time, with your help, I know he's going to win.

Chip in to make sure his campaign has the resources needed to defeat Steve King. [link removed]

I had the opportunity to join J.D. on the campaign trail last year. While we rode around Iowa in his Winnebago, the Sioux City Sue, it became clear that J.D. is a man of high moral character with a deep belief in public service. There is no doubt in my mind that he would be an excellent member of Congress and the voice Iowans need advocating for them.

Rush in a donation of whatever you can afford right now to replace Steve King, send J.D. to Washington, and help our campaign. [link removed]

The people of Iowa -- and our country -- deserve better.
