Over the weekend, America’s Mayor – Mayor Rudy Giuliani headlined a fundraiser to celebrate The Conservative Caucus’ 50th anniversary as the sold out crowd packed a ballroom at the Lansdowne Resort – just outside of Washington, DC.

TCC – the leading grassroots conservative network in the country, has accelerated its national fundraising efforts since the Spring and is directing resources into key swing states ahead of the November election. TCC President Jim Pfaff – a Capitol Hill veteran and nationally-recognized grassroots leader, served as the evening’s master of ceremonies. Guest speakers included honorary board chairman Barry Goldwater Jr., board chairman Peter Thomas, the gala’s title sponsor Justin Malkin and the 107th Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani. There was also a special video greeting from actor and singer Pat Boone and retired U.S. Rep. Steve Stockman congratulating The Conservative Caucus for such a historic milestone.

TCC was founded in 1974 by conservative icon Howard Phillips, who passed away in 2013. Phillips’ widow Peggy and their family were in attendance, including their son Doug and his grandsons Josh and Isaac. At the end of the program, TCC President Jim Pfaff and TCC board chairman Peter Thomas presented Peggy with a special award to pay tribute to Howard’s legacy and life’s work on behalf of the conservative movement.

During his remarks, Mayor Giuliani discussed lawfare and the Department of Justice’s “double standard” when it came to the investigation of foreign contributions to the Biden family, including his brother Jim Biden and son Hunter Biden, who were paid millions from Ukraine, China and other countries while Joe Biden was serving as vice president.

“The influence peddling was corrupt and should have been prosecuted. I have known Joe Biden for 30 years and I know him to be one of the least intelligent Senators or President ever – and it’s a feeling shared by his law school classmates at Syracuse Law School where he was guilty of plagiarism,” said Mayor Giuliani.

“As a US Attorney I met Biden and was unimpressed too. The FBI and DOJ’s use of lawfare is a threat to the constitution. Armed SWAT teams for Peter Navarro and Trump for Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and civil contempt charges are far beyond what is typically used for violent criminals,” said Giuliani. “Navarro was placed in leg shackles. And this lawfare against Trump is unprecedented and a threat to our constitution.”
