Georgia is on pace to set records for early voting turnout!

Across the Country

Hello, John!

Welcome back to Across the Country, our weekly series dedicated to amplifying the voices of our communities as we approach the pivotal 2024 election. The stakes are high, and the energy in Georgia is electric!

Georgia

Early voting kicked off in Georgia on October 15th, and we're already seeing record-breaking turnout. On the first day alone, over 300,000 ballots were cast—three times the turnout compared to 2020! Georgians are determined to make their voices heard, with the left leaning Metro Atlanta area having high turnout as well.

As a crucial battleground state, Georgia holds the keys to shaping the future of our democracy. Remember when Trump told the Georgia Secretary of State, “Find me 11,780 votes.” WE ARE NOT GOING BACK! Our individual votes are sacred—and we will not have it questioned or tested.

Mobilizing Young Voters

This election, it’s crucial that we mobilize young voters. Historically, Democrats and independents have led the way in early voting, and recent NBC polls show that over 50% of Georgia voters plan to cast their ballots early this year. This is our moment to harness that enthusiasm and ensure every voter is mobilized.

Young voters have the power to drive change, and Georgia's future is in their hands. Let’s rally together, share our stories, and encourage our friends and families to participate. Every vote counts!

Transportation to the Polls

And to make sure you can get to your polling place on November 5th, we have a special discount for you! Use the Lyft code VOTE24 to arrive on time and ready to make a difference.

Let’s keep this momentum going, Georgia! Your vote is your voice—make sure it's heard.
