We don’t have to settle, y’all. This is a clarion call for a New Louisiana.
** The “Secret” of Early Voting
------------------------------------------------------------
The momentum of early voting is one of the most important, yet underappreciated, factors in winning an election. The truth is simple: if we want to start electing Democrats again in Louisiana, we need to build the habit of voting on the first few days of early voting.
Why does early voting matter so much?
Because higher turnout is the key to Democratic victories—always has been, always will be. Just look at what's happening in Georgia, where early voting is breaking records. Republicans are scared because they know they lose when turnout is high. And that’s exactly why we need you to make a plan to vote early.
Why is it especially important to vote early?
As Democrats, our resources in the South are limited. When you vote early, you save us the time and money we’d otherwise spend on mobilizing or persuading you later. This frees up our volunteers and funds to focus on getting the rest of our base to the polls. Early voting is so predictable that strategists can almost call the election based on the first few days alone. If you want to help secure a win, the best thing you can do is vote this Friday or Saturday.
Early voting in Louisiana starts Friday, October 18, and runs through Tuesday, October 29 (excluding Sundays, October 20 and 27) from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Click HERE ([link removed]) to find your polling location and vote early. You have no excuses—do your part, and let’s get it done!
Your vote early on Friday or Saturday will give us the resources and momentum to focus on turning out the rest of the vote and making sure every Democrat has their voice heard.
