In our last campaign two years ago, Erickson dumped millions of dollars from his own bank account into ads against me. It almost worked. So it’s a good bet he’ll do the same this time around — which means he’s going to blanket the airwaves with this misleading new ad. We need voters to know the facts: Mike Erickson has a clear record of supporting abortion bans without exceptions for rape or incest. He opposed the law protecting abortion rights in Oregon that I helped pass. And he has made clear he supports the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade. It’s not enough for you and me to know the truth. We need voters to know it, too. And to get the message out, we need the resources to reach every single voter, every day between now and Election Day — because the alternative is we spend the rest of this election getting drowned out by Mike Erickson and the MAGA super PACs backing him.
