9pm ET President Trump addresses the Al Smith Dinner in New York tonight. This annual dinner has long been a “must show” for presidential candidates.
Hosted by Archbishop Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the dinner benefits Catholic charities. Trump is expected to offer a humorous roasting of his opponent Kamala Harris.
Harris is declining to attend in person, sending a recorded video message instead, which Trump calls “sad but not surprising.” Polls show her policies and rhetoric alienating battleground voters.
