We have to be honest: We’re worried. Let us explain why:

Trump and his allies continue to pour millions of dollars into key states across the country. In fact, Republicans are already planning on spending $225 million on ads leading up to Election Day, and this number could absolutely increase.

On top of that, we just checked our numbers and we are behind where we need to be to meet our goals leading up to November 5. The goals we have set for these next 19 days are not imaginary. They are very real goals we have to meet to fund and expand our voter outreach work.

The work that we do today to turn out and mobilize voters could very well be the difference between victory and defeat on Election Day. That’s why it’s so important we have the resources necessary to continue this work until the very end.

Remember, the 2020 election was decided by less than 45,000 votes across a handful of must-win states. This election is shaping up to be just as close.
