DEFEND THE GUARD RECEIVED WELL AT UNITY RALLY
John,
Dan McKnight, Chairman of the Board of Bring Our Troops Home, was in
Pennsylvania last weekend to speak at a politically diverse Unity Rally.
McKnight explained the benefits of Defend The Guard legislation, which
would prohibit a state’s National Guard units from being deployed into
active combat without a formal declaration of war by Congress, as provided
by the U.S. Constitution.
The crowd, made up of prospective voters from across the political
spectrum, was largely unfamiliar with Defend The Guard before McKnight's
speech. AFTER HIS SPEECH, THEY WERE IN FULL SUPPORT.
