As advocates for safer schools, we’re often asked tough questions about how to protect our nation's kids. For families who’ve lost loved ones to firearm violence at school, the pain never goes away. It’s a lifetime of grief and fear that no family should have to face.

When we don’t act, we leave students and educators vulnerable. The emotional scars last a lifetime, and the financial cost of addressing trauma afterward is staggering. But the greatest cost—the loss of life—is one no family can ever recover from.

At Stand With Parkland, we’re fighting every day to make our schools safe. We work at the local, state, and federal level to inspire action. We helped pass the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the largest school safety bill in history, but we can’t stop there. We need your help to keep pushing for real, lasting change.
