Dear John, Northeastern Minnesotans for Wilderness, the organization that leads the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters, leads a coalition united to protect the Wilderness from sulfide-ore copper mining. It also funds numerous programs including Kids for the Boundary Waters, which has been called “the most effective lobbying group in Washington, D.C.” by a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

This June would have been Kids for the Boundary Waters’ third annual youth-led advocacy mass trip to Washington, D.C. Betty McCollum’s bill to protect the Boundary Waters. Kids for the Boundary Waters is just one of many strategic and effective initiatives founded and funded by Save the Boundary Waters.
