We've hung 4,895 'slate' cards to date with 2,100 remaining. If you have time Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to help with the final push, we need you!

We encourage you to bring a friend because we always canvas with a partner.

Training and materials will be provided. We will be using the PDI (app we use to organize address completion) Mobile Connect app which makes it all fairly easy... so bring a well-powered smartphone.

Sign & Banner Waving on West Slope, El Dorado County!

Fridays, Sunday, Monday, 90 minutes is all we need.

Let’s build El Dorado County enthusiasm for the Harris-Walz ticket and get out the vote.

Come out to wave a sign or banner, get some honks and be with friends.

Knock Doors in Reno

Oct. 19-20, Oct. 26-27, Nov. 1-2

Sacramento to Reno effort is a 2-day, overnight bus trip taking place every weekend between now and Election Day. We will be leaving on Saturday morning at approx 7:00am and returning on Sunday evenings. Transportation and 1-night accommodations, as well as meals/snacks during canvass shifts will be covered. Volunteers must cover meal expenses when not on shift.

In addition, we're excited to share that all 9 bus trips from California to Arizona and Nevada are available options. If you'd like access to all of these, they can be found here:

Key Election Dates

The last day to register to vote (mail & online) is Monday, October 21st. After this deadline, same day 'provisional' registration begins and is available at your county elections office or voting location (up to and including Election Day).

The League of Women Voters of El Dorado County has been hosting Candidate Forums on Wednesdays in October:

We Still Need Volunteers!

Canvassing

It all comes down to getting voters to vote. Canvassing your neighborhood with friends and talking with voters.... it's what makes it all happen!

Literature drop, Friday, Oct. 18, Sat., Oct. 19 & Sunday, Oct.

We need volunteers to hang "slate" cards on democratic doors only. We are NOT knocking on doors. New and veteran canvassers are both welcome. We encourage you to bring a friend because we always canvas with a partner.

Phone banking

Making calls is an easy way to take action from home, and we make calls together on Zoom. Whether it’s your first time making calls or you’re a veteran phone banker, we need your help! Training, coaching, & support provided.

Weekends, Oct. 19-20 & Oct. 26-27- Spanish Phonebank. Spanish speakers NEEDED: Join us and talk with voters about Jessica Morse (CD3), Neva Parker (AD5) and Porsche Middleton (AD7), our endorsed candidates for Congress and California's Assembly districts.

Training is provided at the beginning of every shift. You will only need a computer/laptop to make the calls. And your ability to speak Spanish!

Since 1992, the California Democratic Party has been dedicated to defending voter rights and ensuring that every vote is counted through our Voter Protection Program.

As we prepare for this election season, CADEM is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team as Voter Protection Hotline Operators and/or serve as Volunteer Attorneys. Read more here

We need your help to reach more voters and inform them about how the CADEM Voter Protection Team will support every individual in the voting process.
