Hi folks — With Election Day less than three weeks away, I can only assume your inbox is full of requests from campaigns like mine trying to earn your support. That’s how my inbox looks!

Chances are, you didn’t wake up this morning thinking, “today’s the day I’m going to donate to Tammy’s reelection campaign!” But I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain why you should.

My Republican opponent, Eric Hovde, and right-wing super PACs have engaged in a massive ad blitz to tear me down and flip my seat red — they’ve already spent $71 million on the airwaves, and there’s more where that came from.

A national abortion ban, cuts to Social Security and Medicare, a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and so much more will be on the table if Republicans flip this seat red. And trust me when I tell you, folks, they sure think that they can.

It’s why Mitch McConnell’s super PAC just dropped $24 million worth of ads in Wisconsin — they wouldn’t spend that kind of money this close to the election unless they were confident Hovde could win.

With consecutive polls showing a tightening statistically-tied race and elections experts moving our race to a “Toss Up,” it’s more urgent than ever before that we respond to the Republican attacks I’m facing with ads of our own to set the record straight.

But these ad reservations don’t come cheap, and I don’t have the same luxury of dipping into a personal fortune to fund this campaign like my megamillionaire opponent can. That’s why I’m counting on your grassroots support today.

So, folks, can I count on you to split a donation of $10 or more between my campaign and Gwen Moore to help us fight back against Hovde, McConnell, and the right-wing super PACs trying to buy Wisconsin’s Senate seat? We need to win to protect our razor-thin Democratic Senate majority.
