[1]Mark Kelly for Senate

Hey, it’s Mark Kelly. My friend Colin Allred is running for election to the Senate in 2024, and we’re working to support him. I hope you’ll read the message below from him, and consider splitting a donation between Colin's campaign and mine.

This week on the debate stage, I told Ted Cruz directly to his face that he was a threat to democracy for inciting the mob that overtook our Capitol on January 6.

And what was his response? He laughed!!

There's nothing funny about this.

I was on the House floor on January 6 when rioters breached the Capitol.

First, I heard the glass break. Then, as they pounded on the doors, I texted my wife Aly, who was seven months pregnant with our second son: "Whatever happens, I love you."

I took off my jacket and got ready to fight anyone who came through the door. Thankfully, it never came to that.

But while I was barricaded on the House floor with my colleagues with our gas masks in hand, Ted Cruz – who had cheered on the mob earlier that day – hid in a supply closet.

In just 18 days, we have the chance to replace Ted Cruz and give Texans the Senator we deserve.

But after this week’s debate, a fresh wave of GOP spending is pouring into Texas to crush our momentum in this final push. And the latest polling still shows this race locked neck and neck.

There's no doubt in my mind that we can win this race and finally hold Ted Cruz accountable – but ONLY if we have the resources to do it. So please, will you split a donation between me and Mark Kelly now to fuel our grassroots movement to victory and defeat Ted Cruz once and for all? Any amount you can spare will make a difference in these make-or-break final weeks.

Thank you so much for supporting me.
