Gun violence has uniquely impacted Colorado. Year by year, the number of teens killed by gun violence in our state is growing. Our kids are dying. But even so, Republicans—led by incumbent Scott Tipton—are blocking any and all legislation to make us safer.

In Diane's last run against Scott Tipton, the NRA came out to defend him and endorsed his campaign, touting his “deep respect... for our right to keep and bear arms.”

Let’s be clear: this fight is about common-sense measures to protect people from gun violence.

Diane proudly voted for universal background checks as a state legislator. The NRA came after her in her next election. She won that election overwhelmingly. The NRA then gave her an “F” rating because she stood up to them and fought for our communities. Scott Tipton has a 100% rating from the NRA and gets large donations from them. It’s time we elect a representative for CD3 who will stand up to the NRA.
