and we’ve already knocked on over 186,956
doors!
Reaching every voter is critical, and
it’s tough work.
This
year, we have more reason than ever to knock until the polls
close
This November, Ohioans will vote on Issue 1, a
proposed constitutional amendment to end gerrymandering by creating a
citizen-led redistricting commission.
Unfortunately, politicians have created misleading and inaccurate
ballot language, designed to confuse voters about what Issue 1 will
actually do.
Ohio Citizen Action is working tirelessly to educate voters
about what’s really at stake and to expose the truth
behind the politicians’ attempts to manipulate the process. Maybe you
or your friends and family have some of the same questions we have
been hearing at the doors. Here's a fact sheet that will
help.
We have been collecting Pledge-to-Vote postcards. These are
statements of intent that voters sign at the door for us to mail back
to them as reminders to vote.
Seeing their own writing during early voting really
works!

work, from knocking on doors to mailing the Pledge-to-Vote
postcards, to making sure Ohioans know the truth about Issue 1 before
