Despite overwhelming evidence of Israel's war crimes, the United States continues to pour gasoline on the fire. The Biden administration has approved over $20 billion in arms sales to Israel, weapons that are being used to murder Palestinians, destroy homes and perpetuate a brutal occupation.

These are weapons bought with our tax dollars. They fuel Israel’s indiscriminate military campaign, prolonging the bloodshed and suffering of innocent men, women, and children.

That’s why Senator Bernie Sanders is filing Joint Resolutions of Disapproval to block further U.S. arms sales to Israel. This resolution is one of the few tools available to Congress to stop these lethal shipments.

We cannot stand idly by while our country remains complicit in one of the worst human rights catastrophes of our time. It’s time to stand up for justice by demanding an immediate halt to all U.S. arms sales to Israel.

The evidence is clear. These weapons are directly linked to the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians, and every shipment of arms that the U.S. approves only adds to the destruction. This is not just an international tragedy, it’s an American shame.
