Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) are statements informed by a systematic review of research/evidence and provide recommendations for clinical practice to improve healthcare quality and patient outcomes. NASN's School Nursing Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guideline: Students with Allergies and Risk for Anaphylaxis provides school nurse–specific best practice recommendations and strategies to promote high-quality care and improved health and academic outcomes for K–12 students with allergies and at risk of anaphylaxis. Each year, individuals, schools, and communities across the US show their commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle by wearing or displaying the red ribbon. Red Ribbon Week raises awareness of drug use and encourages us all to promote drug-free lifestyles. The DEA has created an online toolkit to help promote Red Ribbon Week in your school or community.
