Election Day is almost here and I wanted to reach out to remind you of the threats we are facing from another Trump presidency.
Project 2025—the policy plans that Donald Trump claims to know nothing about—are the GOP’s plans to restrict our rights even further and divide our country even more than it already is. Amongst the scariest ideas in Project 2025 are eliminating the Department of Education, instituting abortion bans, ending climate change initiatives, expanding the president's control of the government, adopting an anti-LGBTQIA+ agenda, slashing the Department of Justice, and many more.
We cannot let this agenda take effect or allow Donald Trump within 100 feet of the White House. These plans will dismantle American democracy as we know it. If Donald Trump wins, he has already said he will go after his political enemies. Anyone who is not blindly loyal to the former president will be punished. This is not the American democracy we have protected for centuries. Although he claims to know nothing about Project 2025, Trump has openly supported the authors of the agenda and perpetuated many of the ideas present in the plans.
