Team, we’re getting data every day about how ballot returns (whether that’s early voting or folks mailing in their ballots) are shaping up in Arizona.
Arizona is voting. We don’t know how they’re voting, but we do know where they’re voting and what party they belong to.
Take a quick look at this chart. It’s going to seem confusing at first, but we’ll break it down for you.
The first thing we want you to check out is that across the board ballot returns are lower in Arizona right now than they were at this point in 2020. Obviously this is a much different year — we all know that.
But the thing we really want you to key in on is that Democratic ballot returns are trailing Republican ballot returns SIGNIFICANTLY. We’re way behind where we were in 2020, AND we’re way behind where the Republicans are right now.
This keeps us up at night. If it continues this way, we’re going to have real trouble catching back up. But there are two things that give us a little bit of reassurance:
First: It’s early. We have time. We can turn this around.
Second: You can help. Matter of fact, you are exactly what we need to turn this around.
A donation, right now, today, is going to go directly towards reaching the voters we need to turn out. We’ll use it to narrow this ballot return gap and win this race.
