“As Chairman of the Guardian Fund, I am excited about Scott Taylor and his chance at victory. While Democrats continue to focus on divisiveness, we are committed to supporting candidates who give us the best chance to win back the House and maintain a conservative majority in the Senate. I am looking forward to serving again with Scott,” stated Congressman Jim Banks, IN-3.
Scott Taylor commented: “We are humbled by this endorsement. The oath that I took to protect our country and our American values – when I first began service as a Navy SEAL and re-affirmed in the Virginia Legislature and U.S. Congress – drives my call to serve yet again. As Virginia’s Second District is home to the largest and fastest-growing veteran population, a representative with first-hand experience in military service is essential in understanding the needs of this district. The Guardian Fund understands this, and that is why this endorsement is such an honor to our campaign.”
The purpose of the Guardian Fund is to promote conservative minority and veteran leaders who we believe will successfully restore our great country back to the constitutional republic established by our founding fathers.
The United States deserves to be led by individuals who not only understand our military, but by those whom have sworn an oath to be a part it. Forty years ago, 72 percent of lawmakers in the US House and 78 percent of those in the US Senate honorably served in the armed forces. It is the belief of the Guardian Fund that servicemen and women are needed to safely lead us through the challenges on the 21st century battlefield and to represent this country on the world stage.
