New cider benefits conservation; release party planned
Join Nebraska Game and Parks and Glacial Till Vineyard in raising a glass for conservation!
We're excited to introduce Slowpoke Cider, a limited-edition tangerine cider inspired by Nebraska's state reptile: the ornate box turtle. For every six-pack sold, $1 goes back to Game and Parks for wildlife conservation and education efforts across the state.
Join us for a release party 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 18 at Glacial Till Cider House and Tasting Room in Ashland. During the party, guests can learn turtle trivia, meet live ornate box turtles, chat with wildlife experts and explore exhibits that dive into Nebraska’s ecosystems. Guests must be at least 21 years of age.

2024-2025 Stubble Access Guide now available
Wheat and milo stubble left tall following harvest provides excellent cover and hunting opportunities for pheasants and other wildlife. The 2024-2025 Stubble Access Guide displays these and other adjacent habitats open to public, walk-in hunting across portions of western Nebraska.

Donate your deer harvest to Hunters Helping the Hungry
Hunters may begin donating deer to the Hunters Helping the Hungry program at nine processor locations around the state. Once processed, the ground venison is distributed by charitable organizations to Nebraskans in need.

Help shape the future of wildlife watching in Nebraska. Nebraska Game and Parks is giving our wildlife watching guides a makeover, and we want to hear from the public about what you'd like to see included in future editions.
