John, I have exciting news:

The Chicago Tribune has endorsed me to represent Illinois' 4th Congressional District!

Chicago Tribune's endorsement

The Chicago Tribune knows how important the November elections are, and having their support shows our campaign's commitment to representing *everyone* in Illinois.

I am ready to continue to bring my experience and dedication to support our workers, our small business owners, our public schools, and everyone striving to make our community stronger.

I am extremely grateful for The Chicago Tribune and everyone across Illinois who's joining our efforts to protect the progress we've made, but there's still much to do.

John, with less than 20 days away from the election, my team and I will be doubling down our efforts to connect with our community by knocking on doors and meeting voters where they are, but these costs can quickly add up. Will you help us reach more voters and spread our message of unity by chipping in a grassroots donation today?

If you have saved your information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process instantly.

Sincerely,

Rep. Chuy García

Chuy received an outpouring of local and national support and helped reawaken the independent progressive movement in Chicago.

Chuy has received many distinctions for his tireless advocacy of social justice. Chuy and his wife, Evelyn, continue to reside in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood where they enjoy the company of their three children and several grandchildren.
