I know how it goes. You chip in to one political campaign, and suddenly it seems like every Democratic candidate in America has your email address and needs $5 before the end of the day. It’s a lot. I get it.

But something about this message caught your eye and you opened it. So I will be quick and make my pitch before you delete.

I’m proud to be supported by grassroots activists who want pragmatic, sensible leaders to fight for our freedoms and deliver common-sense solutions. That’s the kind of leadership I’ve worked to provide every day in Congress and that’s why I’m running for re-election.

Unfortunately there could not be a more stark contrast between me and my opponent. I am running against a MAGA supporter who wants to restrict women’s reproductive rights and roll back the other progresses we’ve made.
