I’ve never written an email like this.
But I just got three devastating updates – one after another – that left my head spinning.
1. The Economist has Democrats up one point in the Generic Ballot 2. 538’s election model has the race for the House at practically 50-50 odds 3. Axios dropped this report: “GOP badly outspent in most expensive House races”
This is the worst possible news at the worst possible time. Our resources are drying up and Democrats are clobbering us in fundraising heading into the final sprint of the election.
Luckily, I have a Hail Mary to win the election for Republicans:
We need to recruit a BARE MINIMUM of 15,000 first-time donors within a week. The single best way to do that is to offer real, legitimate matching funds for anyone who agrees to help. In other words, you stepping up now helps encourage others to do their part too.
For potential donors who are on the fence, this is the last push we need to get them across the finish line.
