Save the Children Action Network is the political voice for kids.
John, I wouldn’t follow up if it wasn’t important.
The crisis in Haiti is worse than we could’ve imagined, and it’s taking a toll on children. They’re trapped in a cycle of poverty and hunger, uprooted from home or trapped by extreme violence.
Kids are being recruited and used by armed groups – forced and coerced to fight a battle they don’t even understand.
John, your signature can help us demand peace and protection for these innocent children. Please, it only takes a minute. [[link removed]]

John, Haiti has become unrecognizable to the children who call it home.
Armed groups have turned Port-au-Prince’s streets into a battlefield, trapping over 2.7 million people in areas under their control.
At risk of relentless violence, families are too afraid to venture out, leaving fresh food, clean water and health care far out of their reach.
Unimaginably, UN estimates found that up to 50% of armed group members are now children – subject to violence, exploitation and abuse. Children across the country are also suffering unprecedented levels of displacement, injury, kidnapping, sexual violence, hunger and poverty.
John, more than 3 million kids in Haiti need lifesaving humanitarian support right now. Please, tell Congress to protect them. [[link removed]]

It’s hard to grasp the horrors these children are facing.
Amidst the chaos, schools have been damaged, vandalized or even burned down. Others are being used as shelters for children and families who’ve been displaced by the violence.
Kids must return to learning as soon as possible, John. Aside from the fact that it’s their right, school provides a desperately needed sense of normalcy in these uncertain times.
Every child deserves safety and stability. If you agree, sign our urgent petition for the protection of children in Haiti. [[link removed]]
Together, we can be a voice for peace.
