Hi John,

Despite what we’re told, there’s more than enough money for all the things we need to create a greener, fairer Britain.

In fact, a temporary National Renewal Tax on the extreme wealth of super-rich individuals could raise between £130 billion and £184 billion. [1]

With this vast amount of money, we could help families pay their bills, make public transport affordable, and support workers from steel and fossil fuel sectors to transition into well-paid unionised jobs in green industries - and much more!

This doesn’t need to be a pipe dream. Let’s show Keir Starmer and his government that we want this common-sense policy put in place.

On Tuesday 15th October, climate organisers, environmental organisations, unions, economists and fuel poverty groups came together at our Open Workshop to discuss the need for this tax on the unspendable wealth of super-rich individuals.

Panellists discussed how we don’t need to fight for the pot of money. In just five years, enough could be raised to support the NHS and our schools - and insulate over 19 million homes, provide free bus travel to under 25s and retrain 3.2 million workers.

We just need those with wealth over £10 million to play their part in rebuilding our country.

Over 31,000 people are already calling for a tax on super-rich individuals to make sure the green transition is fair to people across the country. Will you join us?

Yes, I will; I want to stand up for a greener, fairer Britain --> [link removed]

Our problems are all connected, and so are the solutions. We know this. Now let’s show the UK Government that we’re in this together.

In solidarity,
