Kamala Harris Gets Angry in Fox News Interview, Does Not Quiet Critics

Hill: Fox News pundit Brit Hume said Vice President Harris did little to quell critics with an interview she granted to the network this week. “She was combative and energetic and she certainly landed some blows on Donald Trump,” Hume said on Fox minutes after anchor Bret Baier’s interview with Harris concluded. “But in terms of how well she answered your questions … she didn’t give you much, Bret.” During the less than half hour-long interview, which was the Vice President’s first formal sit-down with the top-rated cable news channel, Baier and Harris sparred over her positions on immigration, gender-affirming surgery for prisoners and foreign policy (Hill). George: Bret Baier is crushing Kamala Harris right now. “More than 70% of Americans say the country is on the wrong track… you’ve been in office for 3.5 years.” Kamala: “And Donald Trump has been running for office.” “But you’ve been the person holding the office” (X). Charlie Kirk: Kamala went completely UNHINGED lying about Donald Trump locking up political opponents. News flash, Kamala—It was the Biden-Harris DOJ that tried to throw President Trump in federal prison for 700 years (X)!

Fani Willis Attempts to Reinstate Dropped Charges Against Trump
Fox News: Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is requesting that a Georgia appeals court restore six of her original criminal counts against former President Trump and his co-defendants in her 2020 election case, after a judge tossed the charges earlier this year. Willis filed a brief to the Georgia Court of Appeals requesting it overturn Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee’s decision to dismiss charges against Trump and allies, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported Wednesday. McAfee, in March, dismissed six of the charges against Trump, saying Willis failed to allege sufficient detail (Fox News). Townhall: The grand jury indictment originally contained 41 felony counts. There are now 32 counts remaining, including eight against Trump, which is down from the 13 initially filed…The Trump case has been in a state of limbo since the summer when the appeals court agreed to consider whether Willis should be kicked off the case. Oral arguments are scheduled to be heard on that matter in December, a month after the presidential election, by a panel of GOP-appointed judges. Willis initially tried to take Trump to trial before Election Day (Townhall).

Crime Is Up, FBI Quietly Edits Crime Numbers
HotAir: We all knew it was true. As with the jobs numbers, the crime numbers the administration advertises turn out to be manipulated to make the Democrats look much better. The Harris campaign has been touting a substantial reduction of crime under their policies, and as with the economy, our experience contradicts the numbers. We see the increased crime every day, but the FBI and the Biden/Harris team have been telling us “don’t worry, be happy.” RealClearInvestigations just published a piece by John Lott, revealing that the initial numbers have been very quietly revised from a modest decline in crime to a substantial increase in 2022. The “error” was not minor–it was huge…A swing of 7% is hardly a statistical artifact. It is a huge miss–and one that benefited the narrative being pushed out by Biden and now Harris as part of their campaign (HotAir). Tom Bevan: Guess what? Crime isn’t down 2.1%, according to the FBI. They just released a “stealth-edit” update: violent crime is actually up 4.5% (X).

Elon Musk Donates $75 Million to Trump PAC
National Review: The world’s richest man is throwing his weight fully behind former president Donald Trump down the stretch of the 2024 election cycle. Billionaire Elon Musk, owner of X and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, pumped about $75 million into his pro-Trump America PAC from July to September, newly released federal records show. He gave $30 million in both August and September after giving $15 million in July at the start of the most recent campaign fundraising quarter. Tuesday is the quarterly filing deadline for political organizations to disclose to the Federal Election Commission their fundraising over the past few months (National Review). CNBC: Meanwhile, Musk announced overnight on X that he will embark on a multi-day speaking tour through Pennsylvania, the all-important presidential swing state (CNBC). Elon Musk: Tomorrow night through Monday, I will be giving a series of talks throughout Pennsylvania. If you’d like to attend one of my talks, there’s no attendance fee. You just need to have signed our petition supporting free speech & right to bear arms & have voted in this election (X).

UK Man Found Guilty of Praying in Abortion Clinic “Buffer Zone”
Premier Christian News: A Christian man has been found guilty of breaching abortion clinic buffer zone rules after silently praying for his deceased son. Adam Smith-Connor, a military veteran and father of two, was sentenced at Poole Magistrates Court on 16th October to a conditional discharge and was ordered to pay prosecution costs. A conditional discharge is a type of conviction that means Smith-Connor will only be sentenced if he is convicted of any future offences in the next two years. In its decision, the court reasoned that his prayer amounted to “disapproval of abortion” because at one point his head was seen slightly bowed and his hands were clasped. According to Alliance Defending Freedom UK (ADF UK), the organization advocating for Smith-Connor, in November 2022 he spent approximately three minutes praying silently outside an abortion clinic before a local council officer approached him and asked about “the nature of his prayers.” Smith-Connor had previously paid for an abortion for his ex-girlfriend and told the officer that he was praying for his deceased son (Premier Christian News). ADF UK: British courts have found Adam guilty for praying to God, silently in his mind, for 3 minutes in an abortion “buffer zone.” This is the first known conviction of a “thoughtcrime” in modern British history (X).

Elon Musk Files Lawsuit Against California Coastal Commission for Political Bias
Politico: Elon Musk’s SpaceX is suing a California agency that rejected his company’s plan to increase rocket launches from an Air Force base in Santa Barbara County, arguing that commissioners engaged in political bias while making the decision. Attorneys from Los Angeles-based law firm Venable LLP filed the complaint against the California Coastal Commission in Los Angeles federal court on Tuesday. The lawsuit argues that the agency’s 12-member commission “engaged in naked political discrimination” during last week’s debate on a Department of Defense proposal to expand the number of SpaceX rocket launches at Vandenberg Space Force Base from 36 to 50. “Rarely has a government agency made so clear that it was exceeding its authorized mandate to punish a company for the political views and statements of its largest shareholder and CEO,” the suit says (Politico). Elon Musk: Incredibly inappropriate. What I post on this platform has nothing to do with a “coastal commission” in California! Filing suit against them on Monday for violating the First Amendment (X).

Joy Reid Blames Minority Men for Trump’s Surge in Polls
Daily Wire: Far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid claimed this week that a “fascist groundswell” of minority men were causing former President Donald Trump to surge in the polls in the final days of the campaign. Reid claimed on “The ReidOut” that the surge in Trump’s numbers was happening because “some Democrats are starting to believe the disinformation, too…”Reid claimed that if Trump wins, it means that there will be a “far-right Supreme Court for the rest of our children’s lives” and that it will be a “recipe for a fascist America, not just in 2025, but in 2055” (Daily Wire). Trending Politics: Joy Reid says there are ‘pockets of black and brown men who are fascists’ that are voting for Trump (X).

Michelle Obama Hits the Campaign Trail for Kamala Harris
Associated Press: Former first lady Michelle Obama will headline a rally in Atlanta a week before the Nov. 5 election alongside celebrities and civic leaders focusing on engaging younger and first-time voters, as well as voters of color. The Oct. 29 event will be hosted by When We All Vote, a nonpartisan civic engagement group that Obama founded in 2018 to “change the culture around voting” and reach out to people who are less likely to engage in politics and elections. The rally is likely to help the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, in a closely contested state. Obama is one of the party’s best-known figures and gave a speech boosting Harris’ candidacy at the national convention in August (Associated Press). Townhall: Polls show Harris losing among men, black voters, and Hispanic voters, while Trump is ahead of his polling from the 2016 and 2020 elections. A Marquette University poll found that Trump and Harris were separated by just one point nationally. While Harris has maintained her 47 percent favorability rating among voters since July, her unfavourability rating increased by two percentage points (52 percent) (Townhall).

AOC, John Fetterman Spar Over Gaza Crisis
Hill: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) fired back at Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) over his “bleak dunk attempt” on the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Fetterman, who is a vocal advocate of Israel, posted a screenshot of The Hill’s article from Monday where Ocasio-Cortez criticized the Biden administration over the “unrestrained” Israeli government (Hill). John Fetterman: The tragedy in Gaza is 100% on Hamas. Stop using civilians and hospitals as shields, surrender, and release all remaining hostages—and this ends (X). Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: I dunno man. I care about little kids dying. I care about human rights. I care that billions of US tax dollars’ worth of weapons are carrying out unspeakable atrocities. I care enough for us to do better. Hope this bleak dunk attempt gets you whatever it is you’re going for (X).

Medical Watchdog Sues University of Washington School of Medicine for Racial Discrimination Against White Students
National Review: A medical watchdog organization filed a lawsuit against the University of Washington School of Medicine for alleged racial discrimination because of a professional networking database not made available to white students. Do No Harm, a group opposed to diversity programs in medicine, filed the lawsuit against the medical school and multiple school officials over their BIPOC Physicians Directory, a database where minority students can ask physicians career-oriented questions, National Review has learned. The database is only available to “black, indigenous, people of color” and allegedly excludes white students and physicians. For that reason, Do No Harm alleges the UW School of Medicine is racially discriminating against white students in violation of the 14th Amendment, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Affordable Care Act (National Review).
