Last night, I was able to reach millions of Texans and share my vision for a future where every Texas family has a chance at their version of the American Dream.

Ted Cruz ... was Ted Cruz.

He spewed lies and hate-filled rhetoric. Talked about what Texans can’t do, not what we can do. Put himself first in every sentence that came out of his mouth. And admitted he's going to do everything he can to ban abortion nationwide.

And he’s not the only one. In states across the country, extremist candidates are trying to spread the same hateful agenda. Electing Democratic governors has never been more important.

But here’s some real talk: Even though I know in my bones Texans are ready for change and we can beat Ted Cruz, I need YOUR help to make sure we don’t waste our best chance to finally send him and extremists in the states packing.

So I’m personally asking: If you're as FIRED UP as I am right now, will you please chip in a split donation between my campaign and the DGA before tonight’s final FEC deadline at midnight to help me fire Ted Cruz, bring real leadership to Texas, and elect Democratic governors?
