Victoria, a self-described “New Texican Democrat” hails from Corpus Christi, Texas, but she now calls Clovis, New Mexico home. Victoria is known among her friends as a firecracker. She brings the energy and drive we need to win this election. Her story is one of fierce dedication to progressive causes–especially reproductive rights.

While pregnant with her youngest child, Victoria stood up against one of the first sanctuary city abortion bans in New Mexico. Her advocacy didn’t stop there. She has tirelessly fought for expanded rural healthcare access, something vital to our state’s communities. A steering committee member of a local progressive group in eastern New Mexico, Victoria has built grassroots power by running her own local campaign, empowering her community, and championing equality and justice.

Victoria is currently pursuing a Sociology degree at Eastern New Mexico University with plans to become an Art Therapist, showing her unwavering commitment to helping others. Her passion is inspiring, and we’re thrilled to have her working with us to ensure a bright future for New Mexico.
