I’ve been in public service for a while now. That’s why I’m asking you to trust me when I say just how important this election is.

Throughout my journey—from the Greensboro City School Board and City Council to the NC State House and now Congress—I’ve always fought for what's right, and I’ve consistently stood by progressive values.

But I’ve never seen our progress under such threat from extremists hellbent on rolling back our hard-earned rights as I have in recent years. Between draconian abortion bans and anti-democratic rhetoric, I am worried for the future of NC and its residents. And I refuse to sit idly by.

So, John, my final FEC deadline is at midnight, and we MUST hit this goal to flip NC blue. Will you chip in $50 or whatever you can before midnight?
